Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, June 26, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Brandon Williamson more than 4.0 strikeouts
Williamson will be facing the Orioles, who are posting the seventh-highest K rate vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of 27.1%. They are also pairing this with a sub-100 wRC+ mark and a walk rate below 8%. Williamson has managed to eclipse this total in two of his previous four starts, including his most recent start against the Rockies.
Spencer Strider more than 9.0 strikeouts
Strider has not eclipsed this total in any of his previous five starts; however, he has matched it in two starts. All of the starts came against stronger teams than the Twins in terms of strikeout rate. Over the previous two weeks, Minnesota is posting the third-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 27.6%. Strider will also be pitching at home where he has a 15.9(!) K/9 this season, which is more than two strikeouts higher than his road rate of 13.2.
Andrew Heaney less than 6.5 strikeouts
This number seems a bit high for Heaney as he has failed to eclipse it in each of his previous six starts and in 10 of his previous 12 starts. He will be facing the Tigers, who have posted just a 17.7% K rate vs. lefties over the previous two weeks. They have also posted a solid 12.7% walk rate, which is certainly where Heaney could get into trouble as he now has 10 walks over his previous 17 1/3 innings pitched.
Justin Verlander more than 6.0 strikeouts
Verlander has struggled early on this season and has only eclipsed this total in two starts. That being said, the matchup tonight is a very good one as the Brewers have been struggling mightily vs. right-handed pitching in recent weeks. Over the previous two weeks, the Brewers have posted the second-highest K rate vs. righties with a rate of 29%. They are also posting a walk rate below 8% and have posted a lackluster wRC+ of 65. If there was ever a spot for Verlander to look right, this should be it.
