PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Monday, April 24, 2023

Today's PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, April 24, 2023, by Kipp Heisterman. Use his MLB over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, April 24, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.

PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Nathan Eovaldi more than 6.5 strikeouts

We are going to start by attacking the Reds tonight as they have struggled mightily in recent weeks. Over the previous two weeks, the Reds have posted the fifth-highest K rate against right-handers with a rate of 27%. They have also paired this with an abysmal 62 wRC+. Eovaldi should be able to get to seven in this one, which is a number he most recently hit on April 12 against the Royals.

Nick Lodolo more than 7.5 strikeouts

We are going to stay in the same game here with Lodolo, who has posted a 12.88 K/9 to begin the season and has eclipsed this number in two of his first four starts. He will be up against the Rangers, who have posted a 25% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks. That ranks eighth-worst in the league over that span, and they have paired this with a mediocre 95 wRC+ mark.

Edward Cabrera more than 5.5 strikeouts

This is a bit risky as the Braves are capable of pounding pretty much any pitcher into the ground; however, they have been struggling in terms of strikeouts against right-handers recently. Over the previous two weeks, the Braves have posted the highest K rate in baseball against righties with a rate of 29.3%. Cabera is coming off his best start of the season in which he struck out eight Giants over six innings while allowing two earned runs and receiving the win.

Amed Rosario more than 7.5 hitter fantasy score

Rosario has been swinging a pretty decent bat as he is fresh off a 32-point fantasy performance in yesterday's victory over the Marlins. Tonight, he will be up against Austin Gomber, who has allowed right-handed hitters to mash 36 home runs and 46 doubles since 2021. The Rockies pen, who Rosario will be facing once Gomber exits the game, has also posted the third-highest ERA in baseball over the previous 10 games. It should also be noted that Rosario has posted an .813 OPS vs. southpaws compared to a .687 OPS vs. right-handers since 2021.
