Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Friday, October 27, 2023. The 2023 MLB World Series is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Adolis Garcia LESS than 1.5 total bases
This is the highest-ranked prop on the PrizePicks Optimizer with a 54.11% chance of success, which is a little lower than we would like to see, but still close enough to 55% to take a look at. The reason this prop is at the top of the list is the fact that most books have the under 1.5 set to -138, so we are getting some value here. Garcia will also be up against Zac Gallen in this one, a pitcher he has gone 0-for-5 with two strikeouts against in his career.
Corey Seager MORE than 1.5 total bases
Corey Seager has had a solid postseason thus far as he is slashing .333/.443/.644 with three home runs. He has eclipsed this total base prop in six of his 12 postseason games, including three of his previous four games. He will be up against Zac Gallen in this one, who he has gone 7-for-21 against in his career.
Zac Gallen MORE than 5.0 hits allowed
Thus far in the 2023 postseason, Zac Gallen has made four starts and has allowed five or more hits in each of those four starts. He will be facing a tough Rangers squad that has posted a 112 wRC+ vs. right-handers since the All-Star break. The fact that this is Game 1 also means that he will likely be given a longer leash, which will lead to him giving up more hits.
Other Recommendations: Corey Seager MORE than 7.5 hitter fantasy score
