Hello everybody and welcome! The 2022 MLB All-Star Break has officially ended and we here at Rotoballer are ready to kick off the second half of the season with some terrific plays with our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

MLB DFS Prop Picks for 7/21/22
Jon Gray over 6.5 strikeouts - Jon Gray has been superb in the strikeout department this season and has now struck out at least seven batters in each of his previous four starts. He will be facing the Marlins who were posting a 24.6% K rate vs righties in the two weeks leading up to the break, which was ranked 10th-worst in the league. They were also posting just a paltry 53 wRC+ mark against righties over that same span.
Pablo Lopez over 5.0 strikeouts - Pablo Lopez has struck out at least five in all but three starts this season and also has a 9.00 K/9 at home. He will be facing the Rangers today who were posting the ninth-highest K rate against righties heading into the break with a rate of 24.7%. Add in the fact that this is a day game coming off the break and I think he has a great shot at getting over the total here.
Frankie Montas over 5.5 strikeouts - Montas is a bit on the risky side, but this prop total seems a bit too low. He had gone over this total in three straight starts prior to hurting his shoulder on July third. That being said, he will want to go out and dominate as much as possible given the fact that he is a huge trade chip at the deadline that is rapidly approaching. He will be facing the Tigers who were posting a K rate of 23.9% vs. right-handers leading up to the break, which was ranked in the bottom half of the league.
Javier Baez over 6.5 fantasy score - This applies to game one, which starts at 3:37 P.M. EST. Baez will be facing Zach Louge in this game who has posted a 1.48 WHIP and allowed six home runs and six doubles to right-handed hitters thus far in 2022 while only throwing to a total of 103 batters. Baez has done very well against southpaws this season and has posted a .943 OPS with eight doubles, two triples, and two dingers.
