Hello everybody and welcome! The 2022 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.
PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

MLB DFS Prop Picks for 6/18/22
Alek Manoah under 5.5 strikeouts - While Manoah is certainly capable of reaching this total, he has a tough matchup against the Yankees in this one. The Yankees are currently only striking out at a rate of 17.9% vs. right-handed pitchers over the previous two weeks, which is ranked third-best in the league over that span. They are also crushing the ball as noted by their 140 wRC+ mark. Manoah has also failed to reach this total in five of his previous seven starts.
Alex Wood over 5.5 strikeouts - While Wood has only reached this total in three starts this season, this is a spot to play him over once again, The Pirates have posted a K rate of 27.9% vs. left-handed pitching over the previous two weeks (encompassing 172 plate appearances), which ranks fourth-worst in the league over that span. They have also posted just a 56 wRC+ mark and an absurdly low walk rate of just 4.7%, which should keep Wood in this game for some time as he has gone at least six innings pitched in his previous two starts.
Kyle Wright over 6.0 strikeouts I wish this prop was set at 5.5, but here we are. Wright has hit or eclipsed this total in four of his previous six starts and gets a relatively solid matchup against the Cubs today. In his first start against the Cubs back on April 28th, Wright managed to mow down eight while lasting seven innings. The Cubs are currently posting a K rate of 21.1% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, but they have gone racing up the K charts in recent days, especially after Joe Musgrove just mowed down nine across seven innings on Thursday.
Randy Arozarena over 8.0 hitter fantasy score - Arozarena has not exactly been hot, but he has blasted six home runs and 11 doubles off of right-handed pitching this season, which should be good enough to make a play against Kyle Bradish here. Bradish has been HORRIBLE against right-handed hitters this season. He has posted an 8.40 FIP, 2.21 WHIP, and allowed nine home runs to them. He has also allowed five or more earned runs in three of his previous five starts.
