Prince Fielder's .305/.378/.463 slash line may seem like a rebound year after he played just 42 games in 2014 due to injury, but it wasn't all wine and roses for the soon-to-be 32-year-old. He logged the lowest home run total (23) of his career over a full season, while his walk rate (9.2%) reached its lowest point since he was a member of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2006. These numbers could be part of a troubling trend for Fielder, as his isolated power has slid downward in each of the last three full campaigns, settling at a career-worst .158 in 2015. While it's tough to count out Prince in the friendly confines of Arlington, there has been evidence to suggest that heavy players do not age well, and the fact that he is already showing signs of decline may not bode well for a return to elite production. Fielder is currently saddled with an ADP in the sixth or seventh round of standard fantasy drafts, which seems like a steep price, particularly if you are in a league where he has lost his eligibility at first base.
