The HighPoint.com 400 was run at Pocono Raceway this past Sunday, and it was Denny Hamlin who ended up in victory lane at the end of the day despite a controversial finish.
Hamlin had the 3rd- best Average Running Position during the race (8.34). Drivers that had Average Running Positions better than Hamlin were William Byron (5.99) and Martin Truex, Jr. (6.48). Those two finished in 14th- and 3rd-place, respectively.
Of the top 5 finishers in the race, Kevin Harvick, who ended up with a 4th-place result, had the worst Average Running Position at 10.54, which was 6th-best in the rankings.
