Saturday's race at Pocono was full of strategy plays in the pits, and for the first time, Harvick and company got it right at the "Tricky Triangle". Harvick celebrated his first win after a nailbiting last few laps in a battle against Denny Hamlin. I for one was extremely excited over the win due to some late-race wagers that played out nicely (you might want to keep my tweet notifications on over on the Twitter app during races).
Our DFS day wasn't all that it could have been due to Erik Jones getting caught up in a wreck with Tyler Reddick towards the middle of the race. If not for that, I believe we all would have had a very saucy day gathering up money bags. The beauty is that we will have another shot on what should be the most exciting race day in recent history.
Due to Saturday's rain delay, NASCAR announced that it will have three races in one day. In light of this, there is no chance that I'm getting any sleep, and honestly, I'm fine with it (I mean how many times to you get to say you watched a truck, Xfinity, and NASCAR Cup Series race all in the same day?). With that being said, it's time to put the gloves on, and get ready for round two in the Poconos!

William Byron #24
(DraftKings $8,600 | FanDuel $10,400 | DK SportsBook +2000 )
Byron didn't move much in the Pocono Organics 325, and even though he won't be a very popular option starting in P7 on Sunday, I feel he could be the right contrarian play. Byron has proved that he can handle this track, and with the power of Hendrick, he should be a top candidate to dart towards the front early on. Consider him more in GPP than cash games.
UPDATE: Byron will start from the rear after having an engine change. He will be scored from seventh, and other options in his price range include Christopher Bell and Matt DiBenedetto.
Kevin Harvick #4
(DraftKings $10,700 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +500)
Harvick made me a happy man today by putting money in my pocket, and by crossing another track off his list on his quest to sweep them all. You have to give a big shoutout to his crew as well for putting him in a position to take it all the way. Harvick starts in P20 on Sunday, and should at least get us Top 5 finish with his driving skills paired with the man in the box (I'd like to think Rodney Childers is an Alice In Chains fan).
Erik Jones #20
(DraftKings $7,400 | FanDuel $10,000 | DK SportsBook +2000 )
I threw a fit on Twitter during Saturday's race after Jones was wrecked, and even stated he was canceled after sending my lineups to Val Hala. As much as I wanted to stay away from him today, I can't pass up a P38 start in Joe Gibbs Racing equipment. Jones may not be as popular as he was on Saturday, and if that's the case, he's a must-play.
Kyle Busch #18
(DraftKings $11,000 | FanDuel $13,500 | DK SportsBook +400 )
I normally say "I'm back on my Busch'it" when I play Kurt Busch, but it's just really fitting this week with Kyle. Busch was another one of my previous picks that lost some ground, but not enough to make you cry and punch the television (I can't wait for football season viral home videos). It's no surprise that Busch is the most expensive play for this race starting in P16, but maybe that's because DraftKings knows he's overdue for a win.

Tyler Reddick #8
(DraftKings $7,600 | FanDuel $8,400 | DK SportsBook +6600 )
With Reddick, we begin our new pick selections that landed themselves in some sweet starting positions. Reddick was involved in the Jones wreck (probably caused it, but I dont care), and will be rolling off in P30. Reddick will be in a backup car, but that shouldn't scare you from this season's most electric "rookie boi".
John Hunter Nemechek #38
(DraftKings $6,100 | FanDuel $6,500 | DK SportsBook +35000 )
Nemechek really impressed me today, even though he lost four spots by the time he finished Saturday's cup race. I definitely feel that it could have been worse for him, and it made me realize that he's got a real chance at a Top 15 with the right strategy. Nemechek will be starting from P24, and has landed himself as the second driver sitting behind Michael McDowell in Tier 4 of Chef Boi's Premium Rankings.
Martin Truex Jr. #19
(DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $12,500 | DK SportsBook +800)
Truex Jr. is starting in P15 on Sunday, and is taking the place of Denny Hamlin in the majority of my lineups. While I do think Hamlin is a good play, I'd prefer to go with a driver whose car didn't give them any trouble whatsoever on Saturday. Truex Jr. won at this track in 2018, and has secured Top 10 finishes in all but two starts at Pocono since 2017.
Joey Logano #22
(DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $12,000 | DK SportsBook +1400 )
Logano isn't the best in the business when it comes to Pocono, but with him starting in P36 I'm ready to risk it all on the Yellow Rocket. Logano's best finishes at this track include one victory, and a third-place finish in 2014. I fully expect to see Joey in a backup car for Sunday's race, but I'm confident that it won't interfere with him being the place differential leader at the end of this race.
