Zyhir Hope Showing Power In Spring Training
37 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope has hit a double and a home run across his first four spring training contests. He has held a .250/.333/.750 line. On Saturday afternoon, Hope launched a solo shot to the opposite field against the Kansas City Royals. While fantasy managers should not expect Hope to make his MLB debut for several seasons, he is developing into one of the top prospects in the Dodger system. MLB Pipeline ranks Hope as the No. 11 prospect in the system. The 20-year-old was selected in the 11th round of the 2023 MLB Draft. He was given a brief look in the Rookie League that season and held a .286/.419/.543 line across 11 games. Last summer, Hope spent most of the season with Single-A, where he held a .287/.415/.490 across 54 contests. If he continues to perform well in spring training, he may open the season with High-A.
