Zonovan Knight Taking Part In Training Camp
1 year agoNew York Jets running back Zonovan Knight (undisclosed), who missed most of organized team activities in the spring with an undisclosed injury, has been on the field for practice during the start of training camp this week. Breece Hall (knee) has opened camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, so it will mean more work for Knight until Hall is able to return, alongside Michael Carter and fifth-round rookie Israel Abanikanda. The 22-year-old isn't guaranteed a roster spot heading into his second NFL season, so he'll need to perform in camp and the preseason. In his rookie year in 2022, Knight had 85 carries for 300 yards and one TD, adding 13 receptions for 100 yards in seven games (four starts). Knight could be relegated to the Jets' practice squad if Hall is healthy for Week 1.
