4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson matched his season-high in the scoring column with 36 points in Wednesday's loss to Portland. Williamson rounded out his line with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals while draining a three for the second straight game. The 20-year-old also had a season-high 11 makes at the free-throw line, as he continues to attack every painted area and basket the league has to offer. Williamson has scored 25 or more points in five straight games- and has shot 60 percent from the field or better in seven of his last eight games. He'll get a Friday matchup against the Suns, who surrendered a 28-7-6 line to him in early February.
