Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy announced that both defenseman Zdeno Chara and forward Jake Debrusk would not play in the divisional matchup against the Florida Panthers, and defenseman Torey Krug will be a game-time decision. All three players left in the third period in Boston’s previous game on Tuesday night against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Bruins are already without Charlie McAvoy (knee) and Patrice Bergeron (foot) but have been rolling recently, even with these notable players missing from the lineup. Keep an eye open for updates to Krug’s status before Thursday’s game, as well as news on Chara’s and Debrusk’s condition. After Thursday the Bruins return to action on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.--Alex McKenzie
