Zay Jones Limited To 28 Receiving Yards In Week 8 Loss
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones caught all three of his targets for only 28 yards in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. The former second-round pick saw plenty of Patrick Surtain II in coverage, so it wasn't surprising to see him have a quiet outing in Week 8. Even though the 27-year-old wide receiver is operating as the No. 2 target for Trevor Lawrence, he's only hauled in one touchdown and he's only eclipsed 66-plus receiving yards just once this season. With Lawrence and the passing game being inconsistent every week, it's tough to trust Jones as anything more than a desperate flex option in deeper leagues right now.
