Zay Flowers Catches Four Passes In Playoff Win
10 months agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers faced a significant challenge in Saturday's Divisional Round game, shadowed by elite talent Derek Stingley Jr. for most of the match. The rookie first-round pick ended up catching four of his five targets for 41 yards in the team's 34-10 victory over Houston. After spending one half shadowed by Stingley and another half securing the win with the run, Flowers had limited opportunities to produce. Houston, recognizing the threat posed by Flowers, made efforts to neutralize him or, at the very least, slow him down. Baltimore will face either the Bills or Chiefs next week at M&T Bank Stadium, and both teams rank in the top 10 in DVOA against the pass while being stingy against receivers. However, the game script is likely to favor Flowers, as the game is expected to stay more competitive, preventing the ability to run the clock out for an entire quarter.
