3 days agoZane Smith is back at Front Row Motorsports this year, as the 25-year-old will pilot the No. 38 Ford in the NASCAR Cup Series this season. Smith is coming off of a relatively rough 2024 season spent with Spire Motorsports, where the Huntington Beach, California driver averaged a finish of 23.2 with only four top-10 results over the 36-race season. As far as this weekend's Daytona 500 goes, Zane looks to be a great tournament play on DraftKings for the Great American Race. Despite starting back in 37th, Smith should be low-owned in DFS tournaments relative to his Place Differential upside. That's because many DFS players do not trust Zane Smith, and will likely gravitate toward some of the big-name drivers also starting near the back. However, Zane has been no slouch at Daytona in his limited Cup Series starts. In the two points-paying races last season, he finished 13th in both of them, and in the 2023 Daytona 500 (also with Front Row Motorsports), Smith crossed the finish line in 13th-place as well. At just $5,800 on DraftKings, Zane Smith makes for a great Place Differential play in DFS contests this weekend.--Jordan McAbee
