1 year agoZane Smith will be making his fifth NASCAR Cup Series start of the season in this weekend's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He will be driving the #38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports, a car that Todd Gilliland has ploted to six top 20 finishes this season. As far as Zane Smith's record in the Cup Series goes this year, he started off strong with a 13th-place finish in the Daytona 500, but in his three starts since then (at Phoenix, Martinsville, and Talladega), he hasn't been able to finish better than 31st. When asked about this upcoming weekend, Zane stated, "Charlotte is a great track, and I am enjoying these starts in the Cup Series. I just want to keep learning and getting better." He will start the race from 29th.--Jordan McAbee
