Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler and his wife had a healthy baby boy Monday night, according to manager Joe Girardi. Wheeler had considered opting out of the season to not risk needing to quarantine from his family, but is scheduled to pitch the second game of the season Saturday. Wheeler is entering his first season with Philadelphia after putting up a solid 3.48 FIP in 195 1/3 innings for the Mets last season.
