Zack Wheeler Pitches Well In Game 2 No-Decision
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler put forth another strong postseason effort in Monday's National League Division Series Game 2 5-4 loss to the Braves. Wheeler pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits (including a home run) and a walk with 10 strikeouts. The Braves would end up winning the game, however, saddling Wheeler with a no-decision. The 33-year-old has pitched very well for the Phillies in the 2022-23 postseasons, going 2-3 with a 2.59 ERA in 48 2/3 IP over eight starts.
