Zack Moss Finishes With 74 Yards In Week 17 Loss
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss continues to do wonders with his increased playing since Jonathan Taylor went down with a season-ending ankle injury. Moss tallied 74 rushing yards on 15 carries in their 38-10 Week 17 defeat to the New York Giants. The 25-year-old was heavily involved from the game's opening minutes but only had two gains of at least ten yards. His biggest play came in the fourth quarter when he gained 12 yards before getting tackled by Jaylon Smith. Though the Colts are on a six-game losing streak, Moss is one of their few bright spots, with at least 65 rushing yards in each of his last three games. The Colts will face the Houston Texans in Week 18, allowing Moss to close the season on a solid note. Colts quarterback Nick Foles (rib) exited Sunday's loss early and did not return. But with uncertainty at quarterback looming, it's best to keep Moss as a backup option at running back.
