Zack Littell Earns One-Out Save Friday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Zack Littell came in to save the day for the Giants in Friday's 5-4 win over the Rockies. The Giants had a three-run lead heading into the ninth, but found themselves up by just one with runners on first and second and two outs after handing things over to Jake McGee. Littell replaced McGee and struck out C.J. Cron to end the game and pick up his second save of the season. Littell has been a reliable arm for the Giants this season, posting a 3.11 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, but he hasn't been used that frequently in the eighth or ninth innings, which limits his fantasy value.
