Zack Britton Records First Save On Sunday
4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Zack Britton closed out the team's 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals on Sunday and earned his first save of the year. It wasn't the cleanest inning as Britton recorded just six strikes with his 14 pitches and allowed a single and a walk. Britton should remain the team's primary closer until the return of Aroldis Chapman (COVID-19). As of now, there isn't a clear timetable for Chapman's return, so keep riding Britton if you have him.
