Zack Britton Dealing With Soreness
3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Zack Britton (soreness) was unavailable Sunday due to some general soreness he was feeling. Manager Aaron Boone described the condition as similar to what pitchers feel when building up their arms in spring training, so it doesn't sound as if it's anything serious. The southpaw has shown decreased velocity on his pitches, seemingly indicating that his arm needs more time to build up. Britton will get another day to rest with the Yankees' scheduled off-day Monday.
