Zach Werenski Will Not Play On Tuesday
18 seconds agoAccording to Jeff Svoboda of the Columbus Blue Jackets, defenseman Zach Werenski (undisclosed) will not play against the Buffalo Sabers on Tuesday evening. Werenski sustained this injury during their loss to the Dallas Stars on Sunday evening. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Utah Hockey Club. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a career season as he has tallied 57 points, which already ties a career-high. He has found the back of the net 17 times and added 40 helpers. He has logged 200 shots on goal, 13 hits, and 92 blocked shots. While sidelined on Tuesday, fantasy managers should expect Ivan Provorov to replace Werenski on the top pairing and power-play unit.
