Zach Sanford Traded To Ottawa
3 years agoThe Ottawa Senators acquired forward Zach Sanford from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Logan Brown and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2022. Sanford spent the last three seasons with the Blues and registered 26 goals and 46 points in 100 games over the past two campaigns. Brown, an 11th overall draft selection of the Senators back in 2016, had struggled to earn a consistent place in Ottawa's lineup, playing just 30 games with the team over four seasons. Sanford, at this moment, carries more fantasy appeal, as he's been known to go through extended stretches of finding the back of the net. Both players will likely go undrafted in most fantasy leagues, but they could be worth monitoring moving forward.
