Zach Plesac Unable to Secure Win Despite Performance
5 years agoCleveland Indians starter Zach Plesac was unable to get the win in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Texas Rangers, despite working a clean six innings. He fanned six and walked two while allowing five hits, lowering his ERA on the season to 3.13. The win would go to reliever Nick Goody, his third of the season. The rookie Plesac has been a great addition for the Indians, especially considering the current injury situation with their starters. As well as Plesac has pitched this season, he will have a spot in the rotation for the rest of the season and is worth a look in his next start as the Indians vie for the playoffs.
