Zach Plesac Throws Bullpen Session On Friday
3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac (thumb) threw a successful bullpen session on Friday. He threw both fastballs and changeups and he had no discomfort in the thumb he broke in late May. The team seems encouraged by his progress. He may not be sidelined for much longer, but an estimated timeline for his return has yet to be released by the team. Plesac made 10 starts this year prior to the injury and went 4-3 with a 4.14 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP. The Indians are greatly in need of help in their starting rotation right now. Aaron Civale is the team's only current starting pitcher who opened the year in the rotation.
