Zach LaVine Listed As Questionable For Wednesday
2 days agoChicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (illness, toe) is questionable for the Bulls' New Year's Day matchup in Washington against the Wizards. LaVine was listed as probable for Monday's game before being surprisingly downgraded to out. LaVine could miss a second straight game on Wednesday, and if he does, there will be more time and usage available for Coby White, who gets a boost of 3.3 percentage points of usage with LaVine off the floor this season. On Monday, White came close to a triple-double in LaVine's absence, churning out 23 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists in 41 minutes against the Hornets. In 10 games in December, LaVine averaged 22 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 3.4 turnovers in 32.5 minutes per game. If he plays against the Wizards, he's a solid start while White, Josh Giddey, and Talen Horton-Tucker will all be lined up for larger workloads.
