Zach Johnson Looks To Continue Excellence
6 years agoZach Johnson boarded a chartered plane Sunday evening that will take him from the John Deere Classic to the Open Championship at Carnoustie. It is a routine that has worked extremely well for him over the past three years. Johnson captured the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews and followed that with a T12 in 2016 and a T14 in 2017. This week's Carnoustie layout should fit Johnson's conservative style perfectly. The two-time major champion is an elite iron player, whose accuracy and scrambling ability should pay big dividends at one of the most difficult courses in the Open Championship rotation. Johnson is a DFS steal this week with a bargain-basement DraftKings price of only $7,200. He is an excellent play in all formats.
