Zach Hyman Sits Out Third Period Versus Senators
2 hours agoEdmonton Oilers winger Zach Hyman (undisclosed) missed the third period of Tuesday's 5-2 win against Ottawa. He appeared to have gotten hurt on a hit late in the second frame. Hyman finished scoreless in 13:17 of action with two shots on goal. After exploding for 54 goals in 2023-24, Hyman has been slumping throughout this season. With 20 games played, he has mustered only three goals and eight points. Connor Brown might get a top-six job if Hyman is out for Thursday's clash with the Wild. Kasperi Kapanen, who was recently picked up off waivers, will likely grab the open spot in the lineup if Viktor Arvidsson (undisclosed) isn't ready to return.
