1 year agoArizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (knee) is uncertain whether or not he'll be able to play in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. Ertz has been cleared to practice since mid-August, but he told reporters on Wednesday that he needs to see how he recovers after stringing together multiple practices, among other things. He suffered a knee injury back in Week 10 of last season, but it sounds like he has an outside chance of suiting up in Week 1 this year. His presence on the field would affect second-year tight end Trey McBride's fantasy value, but neither player has much appeal given the fact that the Cardinals should be a bottom-five offense this season.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
