12 months agoFormer Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (quadricep) cleared waivers on Friday afternoon. He is officially a free agent and can sign with any team. The 33-year-old showed flashes of high-level play earlier this season, catching 27 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown. Ertz's intention is to join a contender, and teams like the Eagles, Ravens, or Chiefs represent potential landing spots. Of the three, Baltimore gives Ertz the only opportunity to be a starter again, though it seems like he's chasing a ring more than a starting role.
