Zach Eflin Earns First Career Save Monday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Zach Eflin picked up the first save of his career in Monday's 3-0 win over the Astros. Eflin entered the game to pitch the ninth inning up by three and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with no strikeouts. The 28-year-old started the season in the Phillies rotation but has pitched out of the bullpen since returning from the injured list after recovering from a knee injury. Eflin now has a 3-5 record over 20 appearances (13 starts) with a 4.04 ERA. His fantasy value in 2023 will depend on his role with whatever team he ends up on.
