Zach Davies Can't Make It Out Of Fourth Inning
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies was beat up by the red-hot Mets Friday night. A performance such as this was to be expected as he has a career 4.22 ERA with a .325 batting average allowed against the Mets. Davies finished the night at 4 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, including two solo homers to Todd Frazier. He also struck out four and walked two. Davies will try to right his season at his next start against the Reds.
