Zack Cozart to Have Surgery on Torn Labrum
7 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Zack Cozart is having surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. Although the Angels have not provided a timeline, it is expected that he will miss the rest of the season. Cozart was the team's starting third baseman and hit .219 with five home runs on the year. Expect Luis Valbuena and David Fletcher to be the primary third basemen from here on out. Each are worth an add in AL-only and deeper leagues, with Valbuena being more attractive from a pure power standpoint. It's safe to drop Cozart in redraft leagues.
