Zach Collins Signs Extension With Spurs
1 year agoSan Antonio Spurs center Zach Collins reportedly agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $35 million, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The former 10th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft was reported to be a starter for this team despite them drafting Victor Wembanyama, and this extension is further evidence that they believe in Collins' potential. Collins appeared in 63 games last season and started in 26 of them. The 25-year-old posted averages of 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 22.9 minutes per game. He could be a good fantasy asset in deeper leagues since his upside is limited alongside Wembanyama, but he should be a good source of boards and some defensive stats.
