Zach Charbonnet Leads Seahawks In Receptions
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet had 14 carries for 47 yards. His four receptions were all it took to lead the team in catches on Thursday night, though they only went for 11 total yards. It was unfortunate that Charbonnet's big moment finally came against the San Francisco 49ers. Their aggressive defense overwhelmed Seattle from start to finish and the rookie had to make the most of a wonky game script in a game dominated by their division rival. The 49ers controlled the ball for over 22 minutes in the first half, leaving little time for Seattle to establish any sort of offense thus limiting Charbonnet to just three carries for seven yards before halftime. His efficiency was lacking, but he was clearly the primary back as he was out on the field for 49 plays to DeeJay Dallas's seven. Walker may be out another week, but Charbonnet won't have it any easier in Week 13 when the Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys.
