1 year agoBuffalo Sabres signed winger Zach Benson to a three-year entry-level contract to potentially play in western New York come the start of the NHL regular season in October. Benson spent last season in the Western Hockey League, where he recorded 36 goals and 62 assists in 60 regular season games while playing for the Winnipeg Ice. The 18-year-old was responsible for a massive part in the Ice's playoff success, as he logged 40 points in 30 postseason games over the last two seasons.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
