Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner hasn't returned to the NFL since he was released by the Steelers in the spring of last year. However, he announced on Thursday that he's not ready to retire and that he is still attempting to recover from a "devastating" knee injury that he suffered in 2020. "I also have been missing for a while, and I want everyone to know I've just been working out and training my knee," Banner wrote on Twitter. "I have not retired… I'm simply just a bigger man who has needed more time to get past a devastating injury." Banner was originally a fourth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, and he struggled with his weight and conditioning and was eventually released. The 29-year-old has played in 30 career games (two starts) in four NFL seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
