Zac Veen Out For Rest Of Season
1 year agoColorado Rockies outfield prospect Zac Veen (wrist) underwent left wrist surgery Thursday and will be out for the rest of the season. It was an up-and-down 2023 season for the 21-year-old. A series of hot and cold streaks culminates in a .209/.303/308 line with two home runs, 24 RBI, 15 runs, and 22 stolen bases in 46 games with Double-A Hartford. However, Veen's agent noted that Veen's wrist injury had impacted his ability to generate power in his swing since the 2022 All-Star break — explaining the 2020 first-round pick's recent poor performance. Despite this season-ending injury, he remains a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
