1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen has been named the Game 1 starter for the upcoming NLCS, according to manager Torey Lovullo. This doesn't come as a surprise considering how well Gallen has pitched for the D-Backs this season. The expectation is that right-hander Merrill Kelly will get the ball following Gallen in Game 2. The D-Backs were able to make easy work of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but it won't get any easier versus the Philadelphia Phillies in their next series.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
