Yves Missi Suffers Hyperextended Knee On Thursday
1 month agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (knee) will not compete in any of the NBA All-Star activities this weekend after the team announced that he suffered a hyperextended right knee in their game on Thursday. The rookie was only able to play 12 minutes against the Sacramento Kings and posted two points, two rebounds, and a block. The Pelicans announced that they'll re-evaluate him next week after the All-Star break. If he is forced to miss any games, Karlo Matkovic could see more time after dropping 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and two steals in their last game. Kelly Olynyk may also be thrown into the starting five after coming over in the trade involving Brandon Ingram.

Yves Missi Questionable Monday Against Pistons
15 hours agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (ankle) could miss his third straight contest after drawing a questionable tag on Monday for the matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Missi is one of three members of the Pelicans' frontcourt considered questionable as Zion Williamson (personal) and Kelly Olynyk (finger) are both iffy as well. If Missi is unable to suit up again, Olynyk should start if he's cleared, otherwise Karlo Matkovic could see some heavy minutes. In their last game against the San Antonio Spurs, Matkovic posted 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four turnovers across 27 minutes.
