6 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Yusmeiro Petit earned his second loss of the season in Saturday's 5-4 game to the Royals. Petit entered the game in the seventh inning, holding the Royals scoreless, but proceeded to give up a solo home run to Jorge Soler in the eighth. He finished the game with the single home run given up and no walks with one strikeout in two innings pitched. Petit now has a 2-2 record with a 3.25 ERA, 25 strikeouts, five walks, and five holds in 36 innings pitched. Petit doesn't hold much value in any fantasy leagues given his current position in the A's bullpen.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
