Yu-Min Lin Continuing To Struggle Since Returning From Injury
6 months agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitching prospect Yu-Min Lin has logged four starts at Double-A Amarillo since recovering from multiple face fractures that kept him sidelined for over a month. In these four outings, the 20-year-old held a 4.80 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and a 9:18 BB:K ratio. Before the injury, the young southpaw showed similar struggles as he allowed four earned runs in two of his starts in April. Overall, Lin has had a rough time adjusting to Double-A bats over the past two summers after progressing through the lower levels fairly quickly. Lin is considered the best pitching prospect in the desert on MLB.com but may drop lower in the next rankings update due to the disappointing season he has had.
