1 year agoFormer Boston Red Sox infielder Yu Chang has elected free agency. The 28-year-old was designated for assignment back on August 8 and then outrighted to Triple-A Worcester on August 11. Chang dealt with a ton of injuries this season with the Red Sox, putting up a lackluster .162/.200/.352 batting line with six home runs, 18 RBI, four stolen bases, and 12 runs scored over just 105 at-bats (39 games).
