Yoshitomo Tsutsugo Hits Pinch-Hit Homer Friday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman/outfielder Yoshitomo Tsutsugo hit a pinch-hit home run in a 4-0 win over the Cardinals on Friday. It was his first of the season, as he's now 3-for-9 with two doubles, a home run, one RBI and two runs scored over four games since joining Pittsburgh. It's been a rough season for Tsutsugo, who has had stints with the Dodgers and Rays this year and is slashing .170/.262/.250 with one home run, eight RBI and nine runs scored over 42 total games. He really doesn't have any value in any format, and can be left on the waiver wire in all formats until he can show a significant turnaround.
