Yordan Alvarez Sitting Again On Saturday
3 months agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez (neck) is being kept out of the lineup for the second straight day due to neck discomfort. As a result, Mauricio Dubon will cover left field and bat in the nine-hole this afternoon. Before the injury, Alvarez was carrying an incredible .364/.475/.652 line with five long balls, 12 RBI, and a 12:10 BB:K ratio since the start of the month. Fantasy managers should continue to pay close attention to the Houston starting nine prior to the series finale on Sunday evening. Dubon is riding a .233 AVG across his past nine games and should not be considered in DFS competitions this afternoon as he will face Baltimore right-hander Albert Suarez, who has tossed 17 2/3 straight scoreless frames with a strong 0.91 WHIP.
