5 months agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (personal) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. The veteran slugger will miss back-to-back games due to a family matter. The details of the situation are unknown, but hopefully Alvarez will be able to return soon. In the meantime, Yainer Diaz will serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup versus southpaw Garrett Crochet on Wednesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
