3 months agoHouston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Texas Rangers. He blasted a two-run shot off Dane Dunning in the ninth inning to give the Astros the much-needed insurance runs in Tuesday's victory. Alvarez has been Houston's best hitter all season long. The 27-year-old is slashing .300/.384/.530 with 21 home runs and 57 RBI over 464 plate appearances. Alvarez has been especially hot lately, with an OPS of .984 and a 7:7 BB: K in his last 15 games.
