5 months agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez stayed hot on Tuesday versus the Toronto Blue Jays. The slugger went 2-for-4 on the evening with a pair of runs and a three-run home run. The home run would be his second in as many games. Alvarez has been on fire over the past month, hitting .337 with seven homers and 21 RBI. Despite a slow start to the season, Alvarez is coming around and in a big way for an Astros offense that can certainly use it. Alvarez is one of the hottest hitters in the game right now and continues to be one of the best sluggers in the league that also will not hurt managers batting average.
