3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Texas Rangers. Michael Brantley will be slotting in as the team's designated hitter for the game. Alvarez has been fantastic at the plate so far this year. His 12 home runs on the year are second in the majors behind only Aaron Judge (14). He's slashing .248/.357/.570 with 22 RBI and 24 runs over 34 games.
